About Telltale Sailing
Telltale is a planning companion for sailors: wind that knows the land, weather routing that decides, live sailing tactics, storm alerts, anchor watch and the ship's log. TELLTALE COASTAL WIND Global models see the coast in cells tens of kilometres wide, so both sides of an island get the same wind. Telltale Coastal Wind (TCW) works out what the terrain does to that forecast: acceleration round headlands and ridges, funnelling through gaps, wind shadows in the lee.
