That's the Way

A map tells you where to go. That's the Way makes you figure it out. Pick somewhere nearby - a statue, a church, a fountain, a bridge - and put the map away. There isn't one. You get a compass, a clue and your own sense of direction. Walk, look up, read the streets. When you're within a few metres: that's the way. FOUR WAYS TO PLAY • Needle - the needle and distance stay on screen. Learn the compass. • 3 readings - one free look, then you're on your own. Three readings and three hints to spend. • Distance - always how far, never which way. • Hot/cold - no numbers at all. Just warmer, or not that way. THE WAYWARD SCORE Speed doesn't count. Walk efficiently, use fewer readings and hints, don't wander off - and beat your best.
