The Golden Rule: Word Puzzle

There's a hidden word. There's also a hidden rule, and only one of the eight rules on the board is the real one. Follow it and every clue lights up. Break it and the board stops telling you where your letters go. Three new puzzles a day, six guesses each. Can you find the word and the rule? HOW IT WORKS Eight rules sit above the board, things like "starts with a vowel" or "has the same letter twice in a row". One of them is the Golden Rule, and the answer always follows it. Your guesses don't have to. That's where it gets interesting. A guess that follows the rule earns full clues. Green is the right letter in the right spot, and gold is a letter that's in the word but somewhere else. A guess that breaks the rule gets less.
