About The World at War
The World at War is a fictional tactical action game with three ways to play: fly offense from the cockpit, defend the air, or defend the coast. Every tenth level is a tougher one-on-one ace duel. In cockpit missions, drag the flight stick to pitch and bank, adjust throttle, line up hostile aircraft, and fire. Watch your fuel and G-force. Call a tanker, close on its position, match speed, and hold steady to refuel. In defense missions, tap or drag on the radar to launch guided interceptors while a simulated orbital view tracks the action. Start with the F-35. Optional purchases add interceptor charges or permanently unlock aircraft with distinct fictional game loadouts, including the SR-71, SR-72, RQ-180, B-21, F-47, and the Aether UFO Disk with a laser. Purchases are not required to play. All maps, imagery, scenarios, and combat are fictional game elements.
