About TradeFile
TradeFile is a local-only logbook for California apprentices who need to prove on-the-job training hours. More states are planned for v1.1. Log each day in about 30 seconds: pick a work category, enter hours, add the employer and jobsite, and attach a photo if you want. Your entries stay on your phone. When it's time for a signature, hand your phone to your supervisor. They review the entries, approve or reject each one, and sign with a finger or Apple Pencil. The app records the signature, name and time. See progress by category, a pace estimate, and an exam-readiness checklist. Export a PDF with category totals and signature lines, or a CSV of every entry. Everything is local: no account, no server, no analytics, no in-app purchases.
