Ten words at a time. That is the whole idea. Vocabolo gives you a short round of ten words, drawn from what you are ready for rather than a fixed list everyone works through. Answer a word correctly twice and it is yours; get it wrong and it comes back sooner. Rounds take a couple of minutes, which is the point — this is built for the gaps in a day rather than an evening set aside for study. BUILT ON CEFR LEVELS Every word is placed on the A1–C2 scale that language teaching actually uses, so you always know where you stand. Your level moves as you learn, shown to a decimal place: not "intermediate", but exactly how far through B1 you are, and how far a round moved you. If the codes mean nothing to you, switch to plain names and it will say Elementary instead. Start wherever you like.
