Waveglass Mobile is a native iPad tool for exploring optical waveguides through parametric models, field visualization, and numerical checks. It is designed for learning, teaching, and preliminary design analysis. Planar waveguide modes Solve planar TE and TM modes. Inspect effective indices, mode fields, confinement factors, effective widths, and algebraic residuals. Scalar cross-section modes Explore rectangular channel, rib, and dual-channel cross sections with a scalar eigenmode solver.
