Woodshed.io

Woodshed is a practice looper for learning tunes by ear. Load a recording, slow it to a speed you can actually hear, and loop the two bars you keep getting wrong. The pitch does not change when you slow it down, so the tune still sounds like the tune. Loops are sample-accurate. The loop point does not click or stumble, which matters when you are going round the same phrase for ten minutes. Nothing leaves your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no network requests at all. Sessions save to a .woodshed file that also opens on woodshed.io, so you can set a tune up on a laptop and practise from your phone. A tune is included so you can try it straight away: The Gravel Walks, from Tunes From Doolin, recorded by Charles Monod and used with permission. Built for Irish traditional music, and it does not care what you point it at.
