Woodshed: Jazz Practice Loops

Woodshed is the practice room in your pocket — for the hours you spend learning jazz away from your instrument. Most apps just slow a song down. Woodshed turns any recording into a regimen: carve a phrase into a tight loop, slow it down without changing the pitch, then drill it — sing it, play it, take it apart — until the music is in your ear, not just under your fingers. PRACTICE ANYWHERE On the train, on a walk, doing the dishes — anywhere you've got headphones. Woodshed is built for the woodshedding you do when the horn is still in its case. IMPORT & LOOP IN SECONDS • Bring in any audio file from Files or iCloud. • Drag two handles to carve the exact phrase you want to work on. • Set loop points on the fly while the music plays. • Subdivide a solo into a run of smaller loops in one move. SLOW IT DOWN — IN KEY • Play from 50% to 100% speed with the pitch locked, so nothing sounds…
