Xgrid

Photographing a screen usually fails. The camera's sensor and the display's pixel grid interfere with each other, laying rippling bands of false colour across the picture. Moving closer, tilting, or zooming shifts the pattern around but rarely removes it. Xgrid removes it. Press the shutter and Xgrid captures a hundred frames in under a second, lines them up, and averages them. The interference pattern shifts between frames while the picture itself stays put — so averaging cancels the pattern and keeps the detail.
