Zaanse Schans Experience

The Zaanse Schans is best seen slowly, on foot. This app turns that walk into a trail you can keep. Eleven places sit along the route — working windmills, museums, workshops and the little shops between them. Each one holds a seal you can only unlock by standing there. Reach a mill, open it in the app, and the seal is yours. HOW IT WORKS • Open the map and see all eleven locations around you • Walk to any of them — the app guides you there • Unlock its seal once you arrive • Collect seven and your certificate is ready WHY STANDING THERE MATTERS A seal is proof you were really at the mill, not just near the Schans. The app checks you are at the location before it unlocks, so a finished collection means something — and so does the certificate that comes with it.
