ZUPI: Pulse Shield

A Pulse Core holds the bottom of the screen. Everything else is falling towards it. Drag the Pulse Shield anywhere on screen to deflect what comes down. Hold still for three seconds and the run ends, so ZUPI is a game about continuous movement rather than tapping. THE PULSE Deflecting charges the shield. Release that charge as a Pulse: a shockwave that clears the field, and the only thing that breaks armour-plated threats, which pass straight through an ordinary deflection. From level two onward, knowing when to spend it is the game.
