Current: The Daily Charge

Somewhere under the floor there is a machine, and every morning it is wired a little differently. Current gives you one run at today's machine, and every machine is numbered, so the one you played is the one everybody else played that date. You get one attempt: start a stage and it counts. Lose, leave or close the app mid-stage, and the charge you reached is what goes into the day's total. Three stages, in order, scored as a single number: the charge you delivered. DRIFTLINE — hold to climb, release to fall, take the teal stars and stay away from the coral ones. SWITCHBACK — two rails, tap to cross, collect the pulses and miss what is falling. DROPSTACK — land five blocks to clear the tower, and the next one comes faster. The run is built from the calendar date, so players on the same dated machine get the same run.
