SELLOUT: Every Band Dies

Start a band in a basement. Watch it die. Do it again, better. SELLOUT is a band life card game. Every card is a choice: the label waves a contract, the van dies on the motorway, an energy drink wants your name on its second stage. Lean left or right to see what a choice will cost, then commit. Four meters decide everything: MONEY, CRED, BAND, BODY. Empty one or fill one to the top and that is the ending you earned. There are sixteen, and the graveyard keeps count. The run has four acts, and each one costs more than the last. Choices come back: when a card turns up because of something you did, it tells you so. A rival band forms the same year as yours and mirrors every choice: take the cheque and they keep the credibility, stay pure and they take the rooms you refused. The obituary tells you who won.
