About TrainLinq
Stop guessing at the gates. TrainLinq shows you the live status of railroad crossings in supported rail corridors, powered by real track-side sensors, so you can route around blocked crossings and never sit behind a freight train wondering how long you will wait. A single crossing can be blocked 40 to 60 times a day. Freight trains block crossings for 8 minutes on average and sometimes up to an hour. TrainLinq gives you that information before you arrive. KNOW EVERY CROSSING See at a glance whether the crossings around you are clear, occupied, or about to close. Statuses update second by second from sensors installed at the crossings. TRAIN ARRIVAL COUNTDOWNS When a train is approaching, TrainLinq shows a live countdown for each affected crossing. Watch "Train approaching in 42 sec" tick down in real time and decide whether to wait or reroute. ALERTS THAT FIND YOU Get push notifications…
