DotMarks is practice for the statutory checks children take at primary school in England. Each check gets its own pack, built on the same approach: levels that start friendly and end in the real format of the check, and a parent area that shows where a child stands, which facts need work, and why the questions they see keep coming up. The first pack is the Year 4 multiplication tables check. Four levels - Easy: tables 2, 5 and 10, 15 seconds a question, feedback after every answer with encouragement. - Medium: tables 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10, 10 seconds a question, feedback held for a shorter time. - Hard: every table from 2 to 12, 6 seconds a question, feedback shows the answer without encouragement. - Test Conditions: the check as it is on the day. 25 questions, 6 seconds each, no feedback, no sounds, the score at the end.
